Hi world! It has been an age since I’ve updated this blog – there have been so many changes going on in the physical realms of my life that I needed to carve out a little extra mental space and keep my thoughts to myself for a bit. But, I have so much work that I am excited to start sharing again, and wanted to announce that I have opened a studio in the heart of Rhode Island’s arts community, at the Hope Artiste Village in Pawtucket, RI. Swing by unit 2108 the next time you are at the winter farmer’s market and say hi!
I have also rebranded my business to Hope State Studio – while I will continue to blog mental meanderings, new work and news here at Hope State Style, my photography and art business home will be at www.hopestatestudio.com, and my instagram is now @hopestatestudio. Thanks as always for taking a look at my work, I am forever astonished and grateful for each person who comes to this place to have a look at what I get up to.
Here are some wacky photos I took in my new space that I wanted to share with you. I’m experimenting with a refurbished 35mm point and shoot that I just picked up from Midstate Camera Repair, and some Kodak Portra 400 film.
