Photos from my recent article for Puddingstone Post, in which I reflected on my experience following the advice of Marie Kondo, author of The Life-changing Magic of Tidying Up. If you’re interested, you can read the piece here.
My yard got a little overgrown this summer…still, all the beautiful flowers for this ladies’ night potluck came from within the sea of weeds, and it was pretty cozy sitting at a table nestled in a clearing of shaggy grass. Thanks to Vanessa Vess for the rare film shot of me with my cohosts/coordinated indigo princesses, Sam Katz and Ashley Braquet.
I got a nice surprise one day this May when I opened up my blog dashboard- a huge spike in views and follows and some lovely comments that alerted me to the fact that I had been featured on the WordPress blog! Even though I’d probably still be writing this thing if the only person reading it was my mom (hi, mom!) it’s always nice to know that others are taking the time to visit me. I’m truly honored! Thanks to all for stopping in. You can see the article, which is part of their Early Theme Adaptors series, here.

(We ate some shrimp, too!)
Thanks to Charlotte Strode for the shot of me chowing down at the table.
At this time last year, I told all of Newport about my life as a single girl. That sure was fun. This year, I’m going to build a fort in my living room with someone special. Hope you have something wonderful planned tonight, whoever you’re spending it with!
