/ Park in Fog
I love this foggy park image. It is a real classic! Evocative of an ealier era of photography…the 1930s to the 50s. Superb!
Thanks John! I love photographing in the fog. Crappy color Fuji Film converted to B&W. I think film handles fog better than digital, because you see grain texture in the mist, so it feels like a curtain that shifts from foreground to background and seems so dreamlike, whereas with digital, you get so much white blow-back that it just looks overly bright. Do you think I should clone out the one disembodied bit of branch hanging from the top of the frame (in the top image?) I can’t decide.
