Class in the Chapel, Villa Rospigliosi, Pistoia

Working in groups to draw imaginary cities in linear perspective using a chalked rope that we ‘snapped’ to lay out our receding lines.  I got overly excited about adding bead and reel moulding to our Florentine-style baptistry, even though I don’t look it.  Thanks to my teacher, John Pack, for taking these for me!

  1. Such an interesting work! I envy you. I haven’t been to Villa Rospigliosi, but I remember Pistoia like one of those hidden gems in Italy. I went to visit the town from Florence, where I had my base, and I enjoyed it so much that I returned the following week. Enjoy every moment in Italy!
